Abstract painter, works mainly with oil painting and collage technique. Sergey aims to transmit light through the combination of colors and textures. He is referred to the number of artists “whose work has defined a range of artistic and aesthetic pursuit of the second half of the twentieth century in Russia.” He spent more than thirty solo exhibitions and participated in dozens of other exhibition projects, also as a curator. Sergey Brukhanov’s works are in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and many other museums and art institutions.
